Marcelo Bohrer
Strategic Designer | Systems Thinker | Regenerative Innovation Leader
Marcelo Bohrer is a strategic designer and visionary systems thinker with over two decades of experience designing innovative solutions at the intersection of sustainability, regenerative culture, and systemic innovation. With a multidisciplinary background spanning design thinking, product design, communication, UI/UX, business strategy, and permaculture, Marcelo applies a unique life-centered design methodology to tackle complex challenges and unlock transformative potential for organizations, communities, and ecosystems.
Throughout his career, Marcelo has demonstrated an exceptional ability to inspire and mobilize people through powerful storytelling. His narratives are grounded in systems thinking and ecological intelligence, yet emotionally resonant — helping diverse stakeholders envision and co-create meaningful, future-fit pathways. His leadership consistently bridges the gap between vision and implementation, turning bold ideas into tangible strategies and impactful initiatives.
Marcelo’s approach integrates practical design tools with regenerative principles, offering clarity and structure in complex environments. He is known for creating frameworks that not only address current needs but anticipate long-term system evolution. He works across public, private, and civil society sectors, often facilitating collaboration between unlikely partners to catalyze systemic change.
At Marboh Studio, Marcelo continues to develop and share what he calls “living ideas” — regenerative prototypes, models, and cultural artifacts designed to inspire action, foster collective intelligence, and guide the transition toward a thriving ecological civilization.
